I am not sure if my comment is still valid about the lotto sums. I use Expert Lotto to get my numbers (6/45) and take no notice of the sum value. I just make sure I am in the combination ratios meaning the 2:4, 3:3 and the 4:2 for the odds and low and high. When there is jackpot I also make sure I have the consecutive pairs and if they are winners I am a happy chappy. I won’t mention the dollars I have won (I have done well). I am a retired sparky so “I can do what I want, when I like and the rest ‘Not my problem'”. So for my fun I play Lotto. The sum rule the 70% is a lot of b.s. So there.
