The winner of the $1.3 billion Powerball jackpot won on Saturday Apr 6 2024 has now claimed their prize. They came forward last Monday April 8, and are currently going through the rigorous claims process.

This $1.3 billion jackpot is the 4th largest Powerball jackpot in history and it was claimed in Oregon.

States That Allow Lottery Winners To Remain Anonymous

In the USA there are currently 18 states that allow lottery winners to claim the jackpot anonymously.

In a further 11 states it’s possible to claim using a trust or company on your behalf.

All other states you cannot remain anonymous.

But you do have some options to limit the amount of information released.
